Fall Tournament Recap!

Tournament Recap: GUMT takes 2nd and 3rd place 🏆 at William & Mary and Fordham Rose Hill!

This weekend, all three of our fall teams competed at two separate tournaments to kickstart the season. AT&Team and Team Double D competed at Fordham Rose Hill’s Sapientia et Doctorina Invitational and Team Barbie Dream House competed at William & Mary’s Colonial Classic Invitational.

We had 7 new members compete in a mock trial tournament for the first time and we cannot be more proud of how well they each performed! You rock mock stars!

AT&Team, captained by Ahmed Ibrahim and Talin Antarkar ended with an overall record of 5-3. Attorney, Abby Hartz was one of six individuals recognized at this tournament for an outstanding attorney award with 19 ranks! Congratulations to Abby and this team for all their hardwork and good luck to them as they approach The Bulldog Invitational at Yale this November.

Team Barbie Dream House, captained by Elisabeth Cajurao and Julia Hartnett finished second overall at the entire William & Mary tournament with an overall record of 6-2. Congratulations to Elisabeth Cajurao for winning an outstanding attorney award at this tournament with 17 ranks! We wish this team well as they approach their final tournament at UC Davis this December.

Team Double D, captained by Allemai Dagnatchew and Michelle Dubovitsky placed third overall at their tournament with a record of 6-2. Congratulations to this team for their amazing accomplishment and a phenomenal fall season! We wish all team double d members well as they plan for their spring competitive tournaments.
