HIT X

Congratulations to all 24 teams who competed at Georgetown’s very own Hilltop Invitational Tournament this past weekend! We are so happy to have hosted you all for the tenth consecutive year at HIT!

Firstly, this tournament would not have been possible without the hard work, dedication and commitment of HIT X Tournament Director and GUMT Vice President Alexa Huether! We cannot thank Alexa enough for all of her work behind the scenes to ensure HIT X ran as smoothly as it did. We also want to extend a huge thank you to everyone who gave their time to help out this weekend including all our wonderful bailiff’s, TAB room and the tournament committee.

Our very own C Team, Captained by Isabelle Chiu and Steele Schoeberl also competed this weekend at HIT X. Finishing with an overall record of 4-4. The team put on a remarkable first performance and we wish them luck as they approach their Regionals in Mid February.

Furthermore, a huge congratulations to Wesleyan University and American University for receiving the Alexandros Souris SPAMTA award demonstrating their commitment to integrity, honesty and sportsmanship.
